Michelle concentrates her practice in the area of Workers’ Compensation defense and is a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law by Ohio State Bar Association.
Michelle represents state funded and self-insured business and public entities in the area of Workers' Compensation defense and related litigation. She defends claims before the Industrial Commission of Ohio. She also handles appeals of Workers' Compensation issues to the Courts of Common Pleas, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Ohio. Michelle routinely advises clients regarding how to control Workers' Compensation costs.
Michelle was named an Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine and featured in the August 2005 issues of Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers - Rising Star Edition. Ohio Rising Stars were nominated by Law & Politics’ Ohio Super Lawyers as up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger or have been in practice no more than ten years. Only 2.5 percent of Ohio lawyers received this honor.
Michelle's has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for two consecutive years (2012-2013) in the field of Workers' Compensation-Employers.
