R. Scott Blackburn currently serves as chairman of the Estate Planning & Probate department at Coolidge Wall. He counsels clients in planning for the management and disposition of property during lifetime, at death and after death. His experience planning and managing the estates of business owners and executives has afforded him the opportunity to understand and evaluate some of the most sophisticated estate planning tools available to achieve client objectives. Scott also assists the owners of closely held business with succession planning and ownership transfers. He is a member of the Dayton Planned Giving Group as well as the Dayton & the Miami Valley Trust & Estate Planning Groups.
Scott has been named a 2006 Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics magazine and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
