By combining a diverse real estate and financing practice with extensive experience in municipal and public sector law, Shannon has developed a depth of experience in real estate development.

She has represented both public and privately held businesses and non-profit entities in all aspects of real estate development. Her range of experiences include assistance during feasibility phases, zoning and building code compliance, administrative processes relating to rezoning, re-platting, and annexations, negotiation and drafting of real estate purchase contracts, real estate due diligence, construction and architectural contracts, homeowners' associations and condominium creation and conversions.

Shannon also represents clients with construction and permanent financing via a variety of financing products such as federal and state grant and loan programs, private sector lending, mortgage-backed securities, etc.

In addition, Shannon has significant experience in negotiating and drafting leases for industrial, office and retail space, including medical office space, ground leases, easements, license agreements, and a variety of special contracts relating to public sector and health care industry clients.

Shannon was twice named an Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine and featured in the August 2005 and August 2006 issues of Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers - Rising Star Edition. Ohio Rising Stars were nominated by Law & Politics’ Ohio Super Lawyers as up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger or have been in practice no more than ten years. Only 2.5 percent of Ohio lawyers received this honor.
