Allison D. Michael focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment law. She assists clients in resolving issues arising out of the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Diabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and Federal and Ohio laws on age, sex, race, national origin and retaliation discrimination.
Allison also has a solid litigation background. She has defended employers in Ohio state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC), and the Department of Labor.
Allison was named an Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine and featured in the August 2007 issues of Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers - Rising Star Edition. Ohio Rising Stars are nominated by Law & Politics' Ohio Super Lawyers as up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger, or have been in practice no more than ten years. Only 2.5 percent of Ohio lawyers received this honor.
