Sam Warwar is a shareholder in the firm's Tax department, and currently serves as the department chairman. He has more than 20 years experience assisting clients with IRS controversies (examinations, appeals, litigation, and criminal tax matters); and advising and representing buyers, sellers and investors with business transactions.
Sam represents public and privately-held businesses, partnerships, not-for-profit organizations, hospitals and other health care organizations with tax issues related to contract negotiations, corporate organization, corporate structure and corporate governance issues. Sam has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for tax law since 1993, was selected as one of the Ohio Super Lawyers for 2004, and was also selected for "Best of the Bar" by his peers in this region during 2004. "Best of the Bar" is a new program sponsored by The Dayton Business Journal.
