Coolidge Estate Planning and Tax Department Continues to Add Attorneys and Expand Services to Clients

Coolidge Wall Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that three attorneys – R. Michael Osborn, Javan A. Kline and Thomas W. Langevin – have joined the law firm’s growing Estate Planning and Tax Department.

Mr. Osborn joins Coolidge after working at a Springfield, Ohio law firm for more than 17 years. His practice focuses on business and tax planning for the family and closely held business, estate and succession planning, and providing business and tax counsel to tax-exempt organizations, including private foundations. He serves as general outside counsel to businesses, including corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and non-profit organizations. In addition, he represents individuals and business organizations before the IRS, state and local taxing authorities. His experience runs from business formation, acquisitions and joint ventures to cessation of business operations. Mr. Osborn lives in Springfield and will maintain his practice with clients there.

Mr. Kline comes to Coolidge following seven years working at an AmLaw 200 firm. He represents clients on business, tax, and estate planning matters. He has extensive experience advising clients on sophisticated federal, state and local tax matters. Mr. Kline is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business where he teaches courses on State and Local Taxation, IRS Practice and Procedure and Corporate Legal and Social Responsibility. He lives in West Chester, Ohio.

Mr. Langevin joins the firm in its Tax Department. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas in 2016 and is licensed there. In addition, he obtained a Master of Laws in Tax from the University of Florida in 2017. While in law school, Mr. Langevin clerked at a corporate firm in Little Rock, AR, with a focus on business transactions and SEC compliance. In addition, he interned with Tyson Foods’ in-house counsel in their corporate and contracts departments.
