Coolidge Wall Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that Douglas M. Ventura has joined the firm as President of Coolidge Strategic|Advisory Services (CSAS). Ventura will also be a member of Coolidge’s Corporate and Business Practice.

As president of CSAS, Ventura will oversee this new ancillary services business, which offers business owners, investors and boards of directors a portfolio of services to develop, refine and execute long-term growth strategies.

“Over the years, many of our clients have sought help developing and executing growth strategies,” said Sam Warwar, Shareholder and attorney in the firm’s Corporate and Business Department. “CSAS meets both of those needs. For Coolidge clients, CSAS provides the additional benefit of tight integration with our full range of legal services. We are constantly striving for ways to bring additional value to our clients, and adding this new ancillary service is one more example.”

Ventura brings more than 30 years of experience to Coolidge as a business lawyer, operational business leader and corporate development executive, having worked in a wide range of industries both domestically and internationally. Ventura started his legal career at Coolidge. After holding various senior executive positions with Reynolds and Reynolds, Ventura has spent the last several years leading Spectrum, a strategic advisory firm serving middle-market clients.

“I’m excited to rejoin Coolidge and their dedicated team of attorneys,” said Ventura. “The firm’s outstanding base of diverse privately held businesses maps well to the types of services CSAS provides. All companies regardless of size or maturity encounter growth hurdles. We bring them the resources to build – and to execute – their growth strategies without adding to fixed costs.”

Ventura is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of San Diego School of Law. In addition to serving on local company boards of directors, he is actively involved in the community as a special advisor for both Cooperative for Education and Idea Global.
